The summer program at the University League Nursery School is a relaxed outdoor program from 8:30 to 1:00 pm (AM program). Campers may add on the Extended Day until 3:15 or the All Day until 5:30. Camp is a non-coop program. Camp is open to all children ages 3 and 4 (school-year enrollment at ULNS is not necessary for summer camp).
Our professional staff helps campers adjust to routines and transitions. The staff provides a variety of activities that encourage socialization with other children and decision making. A well-thought out balance of child-choice and teacher-initiated activities are incorporated each day. Arts and crafts, music instruction, and free play including sandbox, water play, climbing, fantasy, nature center and quiet areas are the focus of the morning. Snack is provided; campers bring their own lunch. Children who stay past 1:00 will have a nap after lunch and then return outside for fun-filled activities such as outdoor games, sprinkler play, gardening, etc. Each week celebrates a different theme, and the activities reflect that theme.
Camp registration begins March 1 and all applications must be received by June 1. Pick up registration forms in the office. Camp has a maximum of 30 children. Campers must be fully toilet trained. Enrollment is first come, first served and space is limited. Please call the front office (609-258-9777) for more information.
